ARE YOU GOING MY WAY?
Once there was a porcupine who was going along his merry way... He didn't have much, but he had a teddy bear named Muttley whom he loved very, very much. He and Muttley went everywhere together. Wherever he went, Muttley went too. They didn't have much... but they loved each other. And, somehow, that was more than enough.
So begins the journey of a porcupine and his teddy bear. They had it all, as long as they had each other. Until one day, they meet a tortoise, a mouse and an elephant, who, unexpectedly, begin to change it all for them.
A moving tale of self-discovery and necessary loss, reminding readers of all ages, that for every door that closes, another one always opens.
BLUE
A codependent fairy tale.
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, a most beautiful, yet peculiar, little girl was born. She was unlike any other child. For her eyes were possessed of a very curious yet extraordinary power. Captivated by her countenance, those who gazed upon them became frozen in time, petrified to the very spot where they last beheld her beauty.
Because of this, she learned to remain elusive, and the townspeople, terrified, also kept their distance. She lived an isolated life. How she longed for a friend! She thought the day would never come. Until one day, she meets someone who is unafraid.
A haunting story about a deep bond born between the unlikeliest of souls, and just how far each one is, ultimately, willing to go in order to not lose the one person who never made them feel alone.
THE FLOWER AND THE RAIN
Once there was a boy who planted a seed. He knew the seed needed nourishment for it to grow. But exactly what to give it he did not know. He gave it milk in case it was thirsty and to make it strong. But it didn't seem to like milk very much. He tried pancakes with maple syrup in the morning. He even gave it half his grilled cheese sandwich for lunch. At night, the seed was served a delicious spaghetti dinner... with MEATBALLS! Yet still... the seed did not grow.
What the boy discovers in his loving quest to provide the seed with the very best is at once funny and poignant, as he tries repeatedly to give the seed everything. Everything, except what it really needed to grow.
